About

Hi, I’m Tina.

I’m currently studying Economics at the University of Connecticut. Over time, I’ve become more interested in how economic ideas show up in real life — in markets, business decisions, consumer behavior, and data.

What I’m Learning

I’m still figuring out my exact career direction, but I’m interested in business analysis, market research, finance, consulting, and data-related roles. Those areas all sound connected to me right now, even if I do not fully know which one fits best yet.

What I like about Economics is that it gives me a way to think through choices. Sometimes that means markets and numbers. Sometimes it is more about people, habits, and why a decision makes sense in one situation but not another.

Interests

Questions that keep pulling me in

Economics

Why people make the choices they do, especially when every option has some kind of tradeoff.

Business

How teams decide what matters when there are deadlines, limited information, and real people affected.

Data

How numbers can show me a pattern I would probably miss if I only trusted my first impression.

Markets

How trends, competition, and consumer behavior show up in everyday decisions.

Skills in Progress

Skills I’m working on

Excel

I’m practicing how to make information less messy so I can actually learn from it.

Research

I’m learning how to find useful sources and turn them into clearer summaries.

Communication

I’m working on asking better questions and explaining my ideas without overcomplicating them.

Writing

I’m trying to write in a way that sounds like me while still being clear and thoughtful.
